Cellulite
Cellulite is fat that is deposited in pockets just below the surface of the skin. It occurs around the hips, thighs, and buttocks. Cellulite is a common but unattractive dimpling and puckering of skin. Cellulite is caused by a combination of fibrous bands and superficial fat. When superficial fat compartments become distended with fat, fibrous bands (collagen) tether skin, and cause dimpling at the points of attachment. Cellulite only occurs in areas where fibrous bands are present, such as the buttocks and thighs.

Rosacea
Rosacea is redness that flares up periodically on the face. In some cases, rosacea may also occur on the neck, chest, scalp and ears.
This chronic disease affects both men and women, and usually begins after age 30. Over time, the redness becomes ruddier and more persistent, and visible blood vessels may appear. Left untreated, bumps and pimples often develop, and in severe cases the nose may grow swollen and bumpy. Eyes may also get watery or bloodshot.
While there is no cure, a number of medical and laser treatments are available to control and reverse the symptoms.

Stretch marks
Stretch marks are caused by a rapid expansion of skin due to pregnancy or weight gain. They pose absolutely no health risk and don't compromise your body's ability to function healthily; they are purely a cosmetic issue and need to be treated accordingly.
The Salt A-Peel™ MACRO-abrasion™ removes the hard top layer of the epidermis (stratum corneum) exposing the fresher and softer skin layers beneath. Now, the proprietary DermaPhoresis Products with antioxidants, AHA’s and or FibroBlast Stimulating Serums have a chance to get down to the lower layers of your skin. There they will be even more effective. More of the thick layers of the stratum corneum are removed by the Salt A-Peel™ than any of the other microdermabrasion methods currently on the market... thus allowing even better penetration. The use of low intensity ultrasonic "micro massage" following the Salt A-Peel MACRO-abrasion™ further enhances these effects.

Enlarged pores
Enlarged pores are caused by the atrophy or loss of Collagen in the deeper skin layers that occurs with aging. New techniques attempt to stimulate new collagen growth and hopefully compress the pores and make them smaller. As a person ages they lose collagen throughout their skin and the level of skin elasticity drops off dramatically. In addition the size of skin pores increases dramatically. Enlarged pores can lead to an increase in facial imperfections including blackheads, oily skin, skin creepiness and skin sagging, etc. We treat pore enlargements with Microdermabrasion, Photorejuvenation, Chemical Peel, and Laser. All these treatments stimulate the growth of collagen and decrease the pore size. The treatments generally range from a few to multiple depending on the severity of the condition.

Acne
Acne may be whiteheads, blackheads, pimples and cysts. These skin conditions are generally caused by the build-up of oil and dead skin in a pore, and begin to appear during teenage years on the face, neck, shoulders, back and chest.
There are two general types of acne scars, defined by tissue response to inflammation: (1) scars caused by increased tissue formation, keloids and hypertrophic scars and (2) scars caused by loss of tissue.
In summary, acne scars are caused by the body’s inflammatory response to acne lesions. The best way to prevent scars is to treat acne early, and as long as necessary. If scars form, a number of effective treatments are available;Lasers and Macrodermabrasion.

fine lines-Wrinkles
Wrinkles range from fine lines to deep creases. Many factors - including aging, trauma, environmental damage, smoking, smiling and frowning - can create wrinkles as well as expression and movement lines on the face. A wide variety of treatment options are available to refresh and rejuvenate your appearance.

Sun damage

Sun damage compounds the aging process. Ultraviolet light from the sun can cause premature wrinkling, skin lesions, pigment changes, age spots, spider veins and dilated capillaries.
All of these sun-related skin disorders can be minimized through a variety of in-office and at-home treatments.
